  • About the Department

    Mechanical Engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design production of virtually and product on service. Mechanical Engineering is among the oldest engineering disciplines. The goal of the Mechanical Engineering curriculum is to create a professional undergraduate program. The principal study topic includes theory of machines, design of machine, transmission elements, statics and dynamics of machinery, metallurgy, manufacturing and production process, thermal engineering, refrigeration and air conditioning and Computer Aided Design. It offers exciting opportunities for Mechanical Engineering in professional careers in mechanical industries, Central and State Governments, Entrepreneurship with very attractive remuneration.. the Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2010 offering B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. The Department is headed by Mr Gurumurthy a professional Engineer with 6 years of experiences in Acadamics & Research. The major strength of this department is the state of art laboratories and its highly qualified, experienced and committed faculty members. Students undergo excellent training both in theory and practice. To enhance the technical skills of the students, the department also organize seminars, workshops and guest lectures which would make them globally competitive and successfully launch National and International careers.
