Electronics and Communication Enginnering(ECE) is one of the popular cources among engineering programmes being offered here. ECE deals with the fundamental concepts of Electronics combined with Communication Engineering theory and practice. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE) was established in the year 2009 and it offeres four year B.Tech degree and programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The Department is headed by Mr K.Sivagurunathan who has more than 7 years of academic and research experiences. The Department has the state of the art laboratories in all the related areas. It has highly qualified, experienced and commited faculty members of proven ability with diverse specializations. ECE as a course has vast scope in terms of job opportunities which would make the students globally competative to successfully launch National and International careers. It offers job opportunities in both Private and Public Sector companies including BHEL,BSNL,BEL,SAIL, Railways, All India Radio, Airport Authority of India, Post and Telegraph and Indian Engineering Services. Chip Designing, Communication Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering and Embedded System Designing, Testing are some of the career options in the Private Sector. National and International Seminars and Workshops are organized to enhance the technical skills of the Students here.
